Welcome to Winchester Skating Club

Fall Skating registration for this upcoming 2010-2011 season will take place on September 21st from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Winchester Arena.  Fees can be found under the Registration tab.  If you cannot make our registration night, please contact Cheryl Beasley at 613-774-2224 or Sue Smith at 613-774-3484.
The first day of skating for the Advanced Canskate, Intermediate and Senior programs will be Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
On behalf of the Winchester Skating Club we would like to thank the Chesterville Lions Club for their generous bursary donation. The donation will go to help children who are moving from CanSkate to Advance CanSkate. This will help lift some of the financial burden from the families who need the help. The skaters come from all over North Dundas. We thank you on behalf of all our Membership.

Results from test days and competitions can be found under the "Competition Test Days" tab then click on "Skaters Hall of Fame".

Registration forms and information for the 2010 - 2011 season will be added as soon as they become available.  They will be found on our webite under the "Registration" tab.

We are a Skate Canada accredited club based in Winchester, Ontario. We are part of Area 4 of the Eastern Ontario Section. The Winchester Skating club has been operating since 1974.  This web site is intended to be a focal point for our members - a place where they can quickly get pertinent information about the club and its activities. It will also give the general public a glimpse into the organization and activities that go into operating a successful skating club.  We welcome back our "Cutting Edge" newsletter.  You can download a copy by going to "Newsletter" from the dropdown menu under the Home tab.

Peanut Allergies:  Some skaters in our club have been indentified as having a severe peanut allergy.  WSC would like to reduce the risk of an allergic reaction and are asking our members to only bring peanut free skacks to the rink during Tiny Tots/Canskate time on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Keep track of our skaters and how they do in competition and on test day!  You will find results under "Skaters Wall of Fame", under the competition and test day tabs they become available.
